ABOUT US

We are Christian women seeking to grow in spirit and in relationship with the Lord.
Interdenominational, and international , we believe we are washed by the blood of Christ, and are saved by His grace. The Bible is our manual and we depend on the word of God for direction.

OUR VISION

Our goal is to mirror characteristics according to Proverbs chapter 31.We come to praise and worship
the Lord, pray without ceasing for our nations, families and the body of Christ. Our desire is to edify, educate,
support, and respect each other by learning from His word and sharing testimonies of His grace (They
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so
much as to shrink from death Rev 12: 11). We want to use our great variety of spiritual gifts to serve one
another
As Apostle Paul said we have many gifts among us; we need to use them to edify one another:
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in
its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves,
he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4; 10-11)

HISTORY

It was labor day weekend of 2004, when a small group of women from Zimbabwe; living in USA, gathered in Michigan USA to seek the face of God, Yahweh. The word of God and the Holy Spirit, touched those women in ways one could only desire to experience for themselves. As such they, they committed to meeting every labor day weekend in years to come.

Inspired by what they had seen and experienced in USA, some women who had moved to Canada, began meeting in 2008. Their first meeting took place in Ontario, Canada. Both the USA and Canada WOV groups have grown significantly over the years. Every year God is adding to our numbers, women from all walks of life and life experiences, caring and praying for one another. He indeed is faithful.
